NEW YORK, NY, Sept. 18, 2019 – Three-time Latin Grammy® winner and two-time Grammy® nominee Kany García brings her Soy Yo album to life in KANY GARCÍA: SO YO EN VIVO, debuting FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4 at 8pm ET/PT on HBO Latino®; and will simultaneously be available on HBO GO®, HBO NOW®, HBO On Demand® and partners’ streaming platforms. From hit singles “Soy Yo” and “Para Siempre” to the dance-worthy “Banana Papaya,” this exclusive music special goes far beyond García’s album of the same name. Filmed at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico, KANY GARCÍA: SOY YO EN VIVO is an evening full of García’s lyrically rich music. The renowned acoustic-pop singer-songwriter also invites fellow Puerto Rican musicians and Caribbean artists to join her on stage for surprise collaborations and medleys, including Andrea Cruz, Lizbeth Román, Pedro Capó, Natti Natasha, Tommy Torres, and René “Residente” Pérez Joglar.

Born in Puerto Rico, Kany García is a unique and unmistakable talent whose expressive performances, vivid wordplay, and perceptive lyrics have made her the voice of young women across Latin America and the United States.
