We are thrilled to celebrate Carrie Mae Weems‘s monumental exhibition The Shape of Things, now on view at the Park Avenue Armory through December 31. The show is a culmination of Weems’s powerful, decades-long career, offering a searing and thoughtful examination of our past and the political circus of our present, and providing a space of reflection and memorial.

The response has been incredible – two in-depth features were just published in The New York Times, by Robin Pogrebin and Aruna D’Souza. We hope you will have a chance to see this moving installation in person.

Land of Broken Dreams, a large-scale, multidisciplinary convening and concert series, will activate the Armory with a wide range of conversations, presentations, and performances featuring artists, poets, singers, dancers, thinkers, and scholars sharing work and exploring some of the most urgent issues facing society today. The convening will take place Thursday, December 9 – Saturday, December 11. Further details and tickets are available on the Park Avenue Armory website.
